DAP Logic have recently launched a new software package specifically for UK General Practices. GPAS is a system designed to help GP Practices with all those admin tasks that aren’t currently automated, or are spread across many different systems. GPAS will ultimately comprise a number of modules covering functions such as Private Income Requests; Staff Absence & Training; Consumable Stock Control; Rotas etc.
The initial module within the software is for managing Private Income Requests. This allows requests to be entered into the system and monitored through the various stages of getting the information together, invoicing, chasing payments etc. Alerts can be sent from one user to another to remind them what needs doing. Various reports and analysis of the information may also be produced as required.
The Staff Time & Training module can be used to manage all aspects of staff absence, including holidays, sickness, training and even ‘Time off in Lieu’ (TOIL). Visual calendars for individuals and the whole practice mean that you will have no more coloured stickers on charts, or diaries of training days. Numerous reports are also available so that you can keep track of sickness trends, outstanding time owing etc.
